With a background as a professional Art Teacher, she has exhibited her artwork widely and contributed to magazines, newsletters, and online publications.
In 2023, Rosanna shifted her creative focus to fiction, inspired by a vivid idea that became her debut novel, Racing the Wild: A Journey of Freedom and Friendship. The story follows a boy named Chris as he navigates personal struggles through art, animals, and the Australian bush. Blending her visual and literary talents, Rosanna included original sketches at the start of each chapter, designed to resemble pages from Chris’s sketchbook—inviting readers deeper into his emotional world.
She is currently working on a sequel, Racing the Wild: Of Judgement and Deception, which delves into more complex and nuanced themes—honesty, restorative practices, and the moral grey areas of human relationships. This second novel brings a deeper level of research and emotional depth, reflecting Rosanna’s commitment to authenticity and layered storytelling.
In addition to the Racing the Wild series, Rosanna is writing And Still the Horses Run—a powerful novel about a fractured family brought to the edge by grief, guilt, and a runaway child. As a troubled father struggles to confront his past and a quiet boy vanishes into the outback, the story explores healing, redemption, and the bonds we break and try to mend. Rich with emotional insight and set against the backdrop of rural Australia, the novel weaves themes of parenting, resilience, and the transformative power of forgiveness.
Though her roots lie in the visual arts, Rosanna’s transition into fiction writing has opened up new avenues for creative and personal exploration. Balancing her artistic background with a growing body of literary work, she hopes to inspire and connect with audiences through stories that blend imagination, emotional truth, and a deep connection to the natural world.
